FAQ

Q1、Can the shade connect to a remote and a hub at the same time?
A1: Yes, it certainly can do!

Q2: How much installation depth does the P5 require?
A2: A minimum installation depth of 110 mm (4.33 in) is recommended.

Q3: How much adjustment do the P5 mounting brackets provide?
A3:The brackets provide up to 20 mm (0.79 in) of vertical adjustment, making it easier to level the shade without repeatedly removing and reinstalling the brackets.

Q4: Can multiple P5 shades be installed side by side? How large is the gap between them?
A4: Yes. The P5 supports side-by-side installations. Each shade requires at least 22 mm (0.87 in) on one side and up to 45 mm (1.77 in) on the other. For two adjacent shades, the center clearance is approximately 67 mm (2.64 in) in total (22 mm + 45 mm). When measuring for multiple shades, be sure to subtract all center clearances from the total window width. Otherwise, the shades may interfere with each other or cause the fabric to jam.

Q5: What are the size limits for the P5 minimalist roller shade?
A5: Width: 800–2700 mm (31.5–106.3 in). Maximum height: Light-filtering fabric up to 5000 mm (196.9 in); blackout fabric up to 4000 mm (157.5 in).

Q6: How quiet is the P5 during operation?
A6: 1. Whisper-quiet operation: Overall operating noise is ≤35 dB, providing a quiet, library-like experience. 2. Intelligent noise reduction: A dedicated Soft Start & Stop control algorithm minimizes vibration and sudden noise during startup and stopping. 3. NVH acoustic optimization: The system is engineered to reduce high-pitched mechanical noise, low-frequency motor vibration, and other unwanted sounds, resulting in smooth, clean, and comfortable operation.

Q7: What are the P5 motor specifications?
A7: The P5 uses a DC motor with up to 5 N·m of torque and a speed of 40 rpm. Soft Start & Stop comes standard, allowing the shade to start and stop smoothly without sudden movement or disruptive noise, even when used at night.

Q8: How long does the motor last? Has it undergone extreme-environment testing?
A8: The motor has passed 10,000 full open-and-close cycle tests, as well as 80°C (176°F) high-temperature storage testing and 18 kV electrostatic discharge testing. It is designed for stable operation in demanding environments, including sun-exposed windows and high-temperature spaces.

Q9: What opacity levels and fabric colors are available for the P5?
A9: The P5 is available in blackout and light-filtering fabrics. Two versatile, low-saturation solid colors are offered: Cloud White and Misty Gray, designed to complement a wide range of interior styles.
